  • Google Sheets

    Google Sheets

    Core Mental Models

    1. Google Sheets is More Than just a spreadsheet (it’s an intelligent data analytics software
    2. Works great with structured data
    3. Function is the heart of GG Sheets

    Quick Start with sheets.new

    พิมพ์ sheets.new ไปที่ address bar ของ Chromium Browser แล้ว Browser จะสร้าง Google Sheets ใหม่ให้โดยอัตโนมัติ

    Data Types

    • Numeric: 1, 100.5
    • String: “Hello”, “World”
    • Boolean: TRUE, FALSE
    • Date: “2026-09-19

    Function

Output

    • Input (Required):
    • Input (Optional): พริก
    • Output:

    Basic Functions

    Custom Functions

    เช่น function สำหรับสร้าง email =CREATE_EMAIL(CRM_DATA[First_Name], CRM_DATA[Last_Name])

    Convert to Table

    Before

    After

Edit column type

    Filter

Filter Column

    Filter View

    Group by View

เราสามารถ Save Group by View ไว้ได้เหมือน Filter View เช่นกัน

    Array Formula

    ใช้เพื่อ Apply Function ของเราไปที่ Area ที่เราต้องการแทนการ Copy & Paste ทุก Cell เช่น =ArrayFormula(SALE_TRANSACTION[Quantity]*SALE_TRANSACTION[Unit_Price])

Windows: Ctrl + Shift + Enter

Mac OS: Cmd + Shift + Enter

    Filter and Sort

Query(TableName[#All])

    Regular Expression

    • Filter ชื่อที่ขึ้นต้นด้วย B หรือ P: =FILTER(CRM_Data, REGEXMATCH(CRM_Data[First_Name], “^[BP]”)
    • Filter ชื่อที่ไม่ได้ขึ้นต้นด้วย B หรือ P: =FILTER(CRM_Data, REGEXMATCH(CRM_Data[First_Name], “^[^BP]”)
    • Filter ชื่อที่ลงท้ายด้วย A: =FILTER(CRM_Data, REGEXMATCH(CRM_Data[First_Name], “A$”)

    Pivot Table

Email
Amount

Insert → Pivot table

    Introduction to Pivot

    • UNIQUE(range) – List unique values in range
    • SUMIF(range1, value, range2) – SUM range2 if range matches with value
    • COUNTIF() – Same as SUMIF but count

All of the above can be done with Pivot feature.

    • Row – Group of data we want to know i.e. Region
    • Value – Value we want to aggregate i.e. Sum Total Revenue, Count Region (Transaction)
    • Column – To pivot Dimension x Dimension i.e. Row=Region Column=Item

    Nested Rows

    • Add Multiple Rows will enable this feature

    Calculated Field

    • Add custom calculated fields
  • Building a Second Brain

    Building a Second Brain

    Don’t know → Read

    Don’t understand → Write

    Understood → Hands on

    What is a Second Brain?

A Second Brain is a personal digital system for storing and managing your important knowledge. Rather than acting as a static storage vault, it serves as an engine for output and creativity—turning raw information into meaningful work.

Why do we need a Second Brain?

Our biological brains are built for thinking, connecting ideas, and problem-solving—not for searching through a massive database of stored facts.

By offloading storage and retrieval to a Second Brain, we free our mind to focus on high-value cognitive work.

Instead of remember everything, take notes in a Second Brain.

    Notes = Knowledge Building Blocks

Note is a piece of content that:

    • Interpreted through your lens [Perspective]
    • Curated according to your taste
    • Translated into your own words
    • Drawn from your life experience
    • Stored in a secure place

    The Superpower of Second Brain

    • Making our ideas concrete
    • Revealing new associations between ideas
    • Incubating our ideas over time
    • Sharpening our unique perspectives → Perspectives are lacked nowaday

    CODE Method

    • Capture
    • Organize
    • Distill
    • Express

    Capture

    • Capture answers for our questions

    Organize

    • Organize content
    • PARA Method
      • Project – Information we use now
      • Area – Information we use it generally
      • Resource – Information we might use later
      • Archive – Inactive items from the first three categories that we no longer need active access to, but want to keep just in case

    Distill

    • Takes note in our languages. Our lens, taste, words

    Express

    • Production system.
    • If this note can be shared to others, share it.
    • Give to Grow
